Armour Bay

Armour Bay is a great spot for a picnic, just keep clear of the eastern end of the beach where boats launch. Armour Bay is tidal, so swimming is best at high tide. The Armour Bay Reserve has two courts that include tennis, basketball and netball facilities.

There is plenty of space for swimming, but beware of strong currents as the tide goes out, and always keep young children within arm’s reach. If you're planning on heading out on a boat, paddle craft, or sail craft, make sure you check the conditions first, wear a correctly fitted lifejacket, and take all of the right gear.
