Beach Info
Cheltenham Beach is a great spot for a picnic with family and friends, and for playing ball sports on the beach. The beach is quite tidal - swimming is ideal at high tide and there is often a pontoon that is great to swim to and jump from at high tide.
North Head is located at the south end of the beach and the top of the mountain has a great view of Auckland City.
