Beach Info
Christmas Beach is a great place for a refreshing dip. It is a shallow, inner harbour and very tidal beach. This makes it ideal for kayaking or sailing small craft. The beach has a muddy bottom and can fill in fast with the incoming tide. It also drains fast and creates a tidal current when the tide is going out. There is no beach at high tide but a grass reserve has plenty of space and facilities. Toilets, BBQ's, picnic tables, and a playground make it a convenient spot for families. There is boating activity in the area so keep an eye out and keep children within reach at all times.
