Beach Info
Situated near the entrance to the Waitematā Harbour, Devonport Beach is a great spot to visit. The beach is backed by Windsor Reserve, which has public toilets and a playground for the children to enjoy. The beach is confined between a rock groyne and seawall, and becomes deep quickly at high tide. If you head in for a swim, make sure you keep young children within arm's reach at all times, stay within your limits, and never swim alone. Don't venture too far from shore as a large number of vessels operate in the Waitemata Harbour.
