Beach Info
Farm Cove is a great spot for a picnic with family and friends, and for playing ball sports on the grass reserve or on the beach at low tide. However, due to the tidal range, swimming is best at high tide.
Children will love playing in Snakes and Ladders Park. Enjoy views of the Tamaki River, or across to the Mt Wellington volcano.
The beach at Farm Cove is a good place for a swim, but beware as the beach is not patrolled by surf lifeguards and there may be some currents; keep young children within arm's reach.
Also be aware of yachts and other vessels that use the area.
