Beach Info
Fitzroy Beach is very popular with locals and visitors to the region. The beach has a good recreational reserve for young families. Also there is a motor camp located directly on the beach and a golf course just north of the motor camp. Swimming is very popular at the beach during the summer months and if there is any kind of wave (which there usually is) there will be people surfing at the beach all year round. The beach is host to Fitzroy Surf Life Saving Club and they patrol the beach during weekends in the summer months and all week during the six week school holiday period.
