Beach Info
Goat Island is a great spot to enjoy the day, although in peak season it can get very busy.
Go out snorkelling or diving in Goat Island Marine Reserve or book a trip on the glass bottom boat. Goat Island is a steep, pebble beach. Please note Goat Island is in the Cape Rodney-Okakari Point Marine Reserve. This means taking, disturbing or killing any marine life and shells is strictly prohibited.
Be aware, there may be strong currents, so stay within your limits and always go with a friend; it's more fun, and you can keep an eye out for each other.
