Beach Info
Gooseberry Flat Beach is a narrow coastal reserve with calm waters and minimal surf. The fine white sand beach has plenty of room for sandcastle building and sunbathing, with a playground and picnic tables sheltered under a large tree. At high tide a shallow pool of warm water forms, ideal for playing with small children but please keep them at arms length at all times.
Access from Shoal Bay Road, with an off-road parking area by the playground.
