Howick Beach is a great spot for a picnic, throwing a ball around, or a swim. Avoid walking beneath the cliffs, as rocks may fall. Howick Beach is a popular spot for sailing and SUP. Reef shoes or other footwear are recommended to stop you cutting your feet on sharp shells in the water. Always remain within arm's reach of young children. If you're launching your boat or going for a paddle, check the conditions and take the right gear. Please note, road access is only off Beach Road.
