Beach Info
Kendal Bay is a small, secluded bay accessible via a walking track from Onetaunga Road. Please note that the beach is accessible by a steep path. The beach is sandy and shelly, so a great place for beachcombing, relaxing, or going for a swim. Enjoy views across the Waitemata Harbour. Be aware of strong currents, particularly as the outgoing tide causes water to recede out of the bay and into Waitemata Harbour. Be aware of your limits, and always swim with a friend.
