Beach Info
Located one kilometre south of Leigh, Mathesons Bay Reserve has a sheltered beach and a reserve with sheltering trees, picnic tables and a children’s playground.
There is public parking and toilets, and a swimming pontoon is located in the bay during the summer months. The Matheson Bay bush walk is a popular walking track that can be accessed on the western side of the Kohuroa stream.
