Beach Info
North End Medlands is accessed via Sandhills Road, with a designated car park that includes long-drop toilet facilities. From there, a short walk takes you over the dunes and down to the beach, where you’ll find the well-known Memory Rock. The surf here can range from small to large, and while the area is breathtakingly pristine, it is important to be cautious as strong currents and rips are common along this stretch. The coastline offers stunning walks with expansive views, making it a favourite spot for both beach lovers and adventurers. The beach is not lifeguarded so care is required as this ocean facing beach can experience large waves and strong currents.
