Beach Info
Sandy bay is a small enclosed bay protected by rock formations. 150m long and made up of sand and rock. There is no beach left at high tide but mid to low tide provides plenty of room for beach activities and fishing. The beach is gently sloping out to 20m with some submerged rocky areas. Small rock pools at either end are good spots for children to explore. There is little danger from surf here so safe for swimming with small children. Car parking here is limited.
