Beach Info
Taipa Beach is a 1km long white shell sand beach with rocky outcrops at each end. It is great place to go for a swim or to head out on paddle craft. Between tides there is plenty of sand for walking and play. The water is calm and shallow at high tide for 50m then drops off steeply. The beach can get good surf, but be aware that the waves may dump during low tide. A large tidal estuary at the eastern end provides access for boats.
