Exercise Caution While Swimming!
- Report of itching, rashes and red spots after swimming at beaches across the North Island.
- Cause: Seabather's Eruption - an itchy rash triggered by stings from certain sea anemones and jellyfish.
- Advice: Shower with fresh water and change out of swimming togs as soon as possible after leaving water.
