Beach Info
Warrington Beach is very popular because it is relatively safe. Warrington is very sheltered from swell by the Otago Peninsular. Warrington faces to the northeast and large swells from this direction do cause waves at the beach, but these are uncommon. Swimming, diving and fishing are the most popular activities at the beach. Warrington Surf Life Saving Club patrol the beach and if patrons have any queries they should call on one of the local Lifeguards. Blueskin Bay estuary mouth should be avoided on an outgoing tide (at the southern tip of Warrington Beach).
